Preperation.

Tile removal.

Cant face the thought of chipping away at existing tiles let us do it for you.

Making good the walls.

For a quality finish to your new tiles you may need to address the condition of the walls prior to commencement of tiling, after all the better the surface to tile on the better the finshed result will be. Cant get a plasterer leave that to us if the walls need to be plastered and wev'e got the job we can arrange that for you. We then bond the new plaster with a primer type solution.

Preparing floors.

We can level uneven concrete floors and also board out rooms that have floor boards prior to tiling.

When we board floors for tiling we use 8 mm ply which is screwed every 200 to 300mm and then bonded with a primer type solution prior to tiling.

Tiling.

Types & styles

Whatever you like Ceramic, Pocelain, Travertine, Mosaic. we can tile normal style or brick bond ( like bricks are laid ) diamond pattern, insert borders.

All tiling is grouted to compliment the tiles and silcone sealant is applied where neccasary.

Quality assured

Cutting & Shaping

MRL Tiling believes in quality not compromise every effort goes in to providing a quality tiling service. Things like cutting holes to slot over pipes and wires etc not square cuts and adding the piece back afterwards. Also if a socket should fall in the middle of the tile we cut a hole in the tile not just half it and fit the tile back round the socket.

Keeping it clean

Prior to work commencing sheets willl be placed in working areas and anywhere that mess may be caused at the end of the day everything is cleared down, we like to keep a tidy ship !!
